rear truck rack positions

          try to find pictures of where the truck racks where mounted from particularly on the 31 Essex/Hudson

Do you mean Trunk rack? As on the rear of the car, for suit cases etc. ?

I have a sneaking suspicion that mine is probably not correct (but it is sturdy as heck) and you can't really see the mounting without crawling underneath. I'd be interested seeing how these were done too.

would be nice to see a original set with both the spare wheel and truck rack
squeezing me and my lady's stuff  going away on a run can be an issue

I was thinking that they used the same bolt holes that you used for the bumper mounting positions
but the pics show there are more holes there in the rear apron
will have to crawl under my coupe and see if there are any there through to the chassis
this will determine the bolt centers of anyone 1 can find

I now the top 2 holes on the apron and the centre 2 are used for mounting the rear wheel holder
I have bumperettes on the rear of my coupe and does not have the other piece of shaped steel
running horizontal with the apron
