I'm not sure what it is for or where it goes but it's not for a bumper as Hudson didn't put bumpers on their cars as std. equip. until '29 + wouldn't have used a brass nameplate on a bumper as would get smashed 1st time you nudged something.

It does have the Hudson triangle incorporated in it, so it may be an after market item offered.
