This new listing shows a 58 Hudson (listed as a 56?) but for sure a new body change. What is up with this. I understood some were made "downunder" but I did not know any were built stateside.I googled 58 Hudson's and saw a few where clearly the round badge was between the chrome on the hood. Where can I get one of these station wagons in the pink and white?

Brownie - that ebay ad is for a '56 Hudson Rambler, however, they did market a 1958 Hudson based on the US '58 Ambassador in Austrailia and possibly other countries too, but not domestically.

1958 Rambler serial numbers started with D-409001. I have, in my files, starting serial number for 1955 Hudson Ramblers at D-205001 (D meaning built in Kenosha). The Standard Catalog of American Cars lists serial numbers for 1955 Rambler as 205001-276099.
1956 Rambler serial numbers started at D-276001 and 1957 started at D-341001. So it would appear this model is actually a 1956. It would be easy enough to either transpose a 6 (1956) into an 8 (1958) or mis-read the data plate if it's corroded, dirty or whatever.
Ah - 53Jetman slipped a post ahead of me. LOL Yes, the small type in the ebay listing says 1956 - but it's still being flogged as a 1958. If you read down the ad it's listed in the specs as 1958.
