Want to Buy: '37 H8 Engine Trans
StillOutThere
Expert Adviser
Abel Vico found a 1937 Hudson 8 convertible without engine or transmission. He wants to do a proper restoration by installing a correct '37 H8 motor and trans. None to be found in his country of Argentina. Do you have? or know someone that can help?
He is progressing nicely on the body work. Help a Hudson brother please?
Abel Vico abelvico@yahoo.com His English is not perfect but adequate.

I know of a gentleman with a '37 convertible in Uruguay (been in the family since 1940!). He may know of (or have) some spares! I'll try to get them in touch with one another!

Excellent, thanks Jon.
Abel says the Uruguay car is a Terraplane 6 cylinder. Still looking and hoping

Actually, Mr. Rapetti's convertible is a Hudson, but it is a six (model 73). Still, the owner is a mechanic and has had the car in his family since the 1940's, so he is probably aware of all the spare engines and parts cars to be had, in Uruguay! Anyway, we'll find out when he responds to my e-mail.

I have a recon gearbox suitable for a 1937 Hudson. Freight would be expensive from South Australia. Inquiries to hetozhudson@gmail.com Delete the het0
