    BOTH NICE CARS THE 55 HAS WIRE WHEELSIT'S NICE FOR $10,000 ASKING PRICE 

     AND THE 57 IS A HARDTOP REDONE INT AND PAINT FOR $18,000 BOTH NOT OVERLY PRICED 

    IF THEY WERE CLOSER TO ME THEY WOULD BE AT MY HOUSE TONIGHT

    Nice cars. How does one adjust the valves on the 308 or 202 in the '55 models. I heard that the engine had to be raised off the motor mounts or even removed , due to the shock towers interfering with access to the chamber. What is the truth?

    I believe that's why they went to hydraulic lifters

    RON S THAT IS RIGHT THE VALVES IN THE 55'S ARE REAL HAD TO ADJUST YOU HAVE TO STAND ON YOUR HEAD AND BEND ALL AROUND EVEN WITH TAKING LOOSE THE ENGINE MOUNTS
