We continue bringing you the tech bulletins that Art Adams put in the WTN (as a center fold) during his years as WTN editor.
These can be found in the online library along with those I made up following Art's format.
This
time we bring you TS 77–4 1948–1954 Cylinder Head Temperature Indicator
Elements, which you may find, if not useful at least interesting.
The online library may be accessed at:
http://hetclub.org/burr/lithomepage.htm - technical bulletins are filed under Other H-E-T Literature

Huh? How do you install a wide block head on a narrow block motor (or vice-versa)? I didn't think anything would line up..........I have never personally tried, but didn't think it could be done.0

ski, the bulletin isn't talking about exchanging cylinder heads - it's telling how to adapt a later engine block with cylinder head to an earlier step-down. For example, installiing a 1956 308 in a 1948 or 1949 Hudson. Then you would, or should, adapt the head to accept the sending unit from a 1948 or 1949 engine/cylinder head.
