Directional/Park light socket

I am trying to rebuild the light socket (also the directional signal socket) for the front of my 1954 Hudson Special.  Anyone have a set of these available or perhaps know of a socket on the market that will work for this application?  I am not sure how reliable the ones I am working on will be so I am thinking that since I am replacing the wire system new might be a good way to go.

One of your local parts store should have new socket pigtails that you should be able to make work. Wiring and electrical section. Also, the wire harness dealers (YnZ ect...) have them.

eBay has metal sockets and contact replacement inserts available which will work on a Hudson.

OK, not having a lot of luck with this page tonight. I took the two sockets apart today and cleaned them up. The insert for both were in great shape and with some wire brush work they cleaned up. I think I will go with these until I can find some in NOS shape.

To clean the sockets themselves a plumbers brush with wire bristles works well on some of the sockets. Tool men used to have them also. Mine are pretty worn out.   To clean things like the headlight connectors, etc I use a dab of valve grinding compound on the sockets, then work it back and forth on the headlight, does a good job, then clean it off with brake cleaner and  the put a dab of electrical grease on the connections to protect it.  Cleaned many a bad connection this way.
