Getting grilled
If someone with a 53 hornet could clear this up for me, I'd greatly appreciate it:
Just behind the front bumper is a body-painted filler panel that fills void between radiator and bumper. It came in two halves. Part R8-1 on plate 63 of the Hudson master parts catalog. Question: is the associated R8-2 installed on a 53 hornet? I did not find it at time of disassembly. It looks like it is designed to span the joint between the R8-1 halves and maybe cover bolt heads.
Hudsonly,
Dave C

Ken, the rubber is installed and looks good. Used staples separated and passed through original holes as needed. Went very well, thanks to you.
Yes, I would like that piece. My email is dcbabydrhet@gmail.com, drop the het. Let me know what you'll need for it.
