We completed the first day of our three-chapter "Delaware Excursion" with a communal dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant in West Chester, Pa. (northwest of Wilmington, Delaware).   We spent today visiting The American Helicopter Museum, the Antique Ice Tools Museum, and the Christian Sanderson Museum.  Had breakfast, dinner and lunch together, and traveled along some interesting and scenic country roads.  People have been joining and leaving the tour as their schedules permit.  At one point we had 6 Hudsons from '49 to '53.

The tour is a joint project of the Pennsylvania Dutch, Garden State and Chesapeake Bay Chapters, and is open to all Hudson enthusiasts.

Tomorrow we're scheduled to visit an the Newlin Grist Mill, the Brandywine River Museum, an AACA flea market, the Wilmington & Western railroad (where we'll ride on a train pulled by a steam locomotive) and the model railroad layout and toy train collection of a private collector.

The weather was spectacular today and promises to be so tomorrow as well.

If anyone living in the greater Wilmington, Delaware area has an interest in joining us for any part of the tour tomorrow they should phone my cellphone, (703) 986-8785, first thing on Sunday morning.
