Would anyone have a power steering cylinder for our 54 Hornet that has a good shaft or I could use just a good unscored shaft.
 Thanks  Ray

I forgot to ask if there is another make of vehicle that uses the same power steering cylinder. Ray

  • I don't think any cross over is possible. If you send your old one to Lare's Corp.  They will replace all the parts with new ones.  I don't think you can take them apart  without cutting it up ??
  • I'M NOT SURE IF THEY ARE THE SAME BUT I DO HAVE A 57 HUDSON CYL I TOOK OF A CAR I WAS SCRAPPING IKNOW THAT FOR THE 3 YEARS OF AMC HUDSONS THEY USED ARUND 12 DIFFERENT CYL'SI HAVE CHANGED THEM OUT  SOME ARE  DIFFERENT ON SOME  ONE CAR TO ANOTHER BUT THE INSIDE PARTS ARE DIFFERENT
  • Thanks for the comments, The power steering works wonderfully. Idling in the garage on cement with radial tires I can use my little finger to turn the steering wheel but the shaft is badly scored and the fluid leaks out the end and drains the flui Thanks again. Rayd from resiveor.
