Headliner removal on a '36...

How does the headliner attach along its edges... feels like there is a strip up inside it that maybe it wraps around?
Mice got up into mine and I may have to pull it out...

Edge of liner is pulled down and stapled to long pieces of timber above all doors. Then the edge is hidden by tacking/nailing a long stitched piece of upholstery. I prefer not to explain how to open it to nail. If you need photos and more info email me ozhudson@gmail.comSome cars simply glued a piece of attractive lace to hide the edge.Re the quarter windows, hopefully the timber work below is padded out/wide enough so that when you fit the large aluminium inside trim, the screws will bite into wood. If not, there is a solution. Finally there is a technical adviser in the club, or possibly a local upholstery shop that has worked on classic cars, that can advise you. Barry0
