Irritating that someone at Hemmings keeps referring to teh Hudson pickups as Express or Coupe Express.  That was Studebaker.  i've never seen the Hudsons referred to by this name.  Beautiful truck!
The 1929 Dover and 1930-1932 Essex pickups were called Screenside Express (the screensides had a top with screen type sides added to the bed of a standard pickup); the pickups were listed as Cab Top Pickup. The 1933 pickups were, from what I've dug up, called Cab Express. From 1934-1947 they are usually referred to as Cab Pickup

  • Saw him interviewed on a youtube vid about the ute when it was at a car show. Said that the ute drove like a truck and wasn't nice to drive - Got the impression he didn't much like it - pity cause I LOVE mine :-)
