I'm sure you'll get a response, but first off, I'd suggest you contact Sarah Young (see the above-mentioned website). You actually might find your answer at her website, but if not you can e-mail her. If she can't answer you, she may be able to refer you to someone who has the answer.

I hope someone can jump in here (maybe when they get back from work tonight).
Meanwhile, you mention the Pinto pump. I understand that a lot of Hudson people have found a particular AMC pump to be preferable for the Hudson engine (though maybe the Pinto pump remains the best for the Jet engine). Wish I could help, but mine is a '37!
Here are a few things I discovered when doing a quick search on Google. These are from past discussions on the Hudson Forum. It's all hearsay so take it with a grain of salt...
The Jets use the same Fuel Pump as the Step Downs. Therefore you have two choices. The '72 - '88 AMC Six or the '72 - '80 2.3L Pinto Four (in two versions '72 - '75 or '76 - '80). The AMC Six pump is cheaper and more available, but requires a 1/2" spacer and outlet comes straight out the bottom of the pump which requires a new fuel line. The Pinto pumps does not require a spacer and the outlet comes out the side, but has a third fuel connection which has to be blocked off or used as fuel return to the tank to prevent vapor lock.
The arm on the Pinto pump signals a Left hand turn and contacts the camshaft on the bottom. Works on 202, 232, 262, 308 and wide bottom (stepdown) 254s
