Exhaust/Muffler Options?

I think the "favored" supplier for exhausts nowadays is Waldron. Go here: http://waldronexhaust.com/cart/index.php?cPath=61_42 .
Jets are not mentioned but when they list a year range, that may include Jet. I'd e-mail them to be sure. But anyway, this will give you some idea of the cost.
I don't want to stick my neck out here, but I think aluminized steel is the way to go. I bought a system from a fellow in the Hudson club, in aluminized steel, over 30 years ago, and it is still going strong. The only modification I did, was to drill a tiny "weep hole" in the bottom of the muffler, at the lowest point, so the water can drain. Thirty years is a nice long life for an exhaust system!

Complete exhaust systems are advertised every week almost on ebay, for all model Hudsons.0

I second Jon's advice. Waldron has made a couple for me with great results. I'm sure they can do a Jet system. I think Burton Waldron,The founder, was a Hudson Club member back in the day.0

Just be sure you know about the company from which you are ordering. For example, there is a supplier whose name begins with "K" which is not recommended by many people.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look up Waldron information!
