Probably the restorer couldnt find a '37 grille so used a '36...

did not think a 36 grill would fit? is it 36 fenders or 37 and if so what are differences? headlights mounted on shell makes 37 headlights correct? Are running boards 37?0

Looks like a '37 to me, has not got suicide doors.0

I think that car was on Ebay or/Craigs list a month or so ago. I belief there was post here from the new owner.0

I was there too, and it look like it just had a quick 'cover-up' paint job. Nothing jumped out as off too me, but I'm not an expert by any means.
While we're on the subject though, this, and a Essex hot rod also in the swap meet, were the ONLY Hudsons I found in the whole show. Better get my Hornet done so there is at least ONE Hudson there next year.0 -
Definitely a '37. The '36's had sooeyside doors. Commercial hood ornament. I wonder if it had the slide out pickup bed? Rattle can paint job. What sort of a car show did you say it was?

If you can find a serial number that will tell the tale. Or maybe it was a 36½ model.
