Speedo and clock faces

No worries! 

Just a few details to everyone interested in these - right now the faces are only in black and metallic and the numbers can be ordered in several colors.  The big hand can be ordered in all the colors too - but the black on the round will need to be painted on.  The parts are porous - so they need to be sealed first (clear nail polish or superglue works well) to prevent bleed-thru if you paint details on them.

Sorry, no swirl or phosphorescence. But - pull apart your center gauge and paint everything to match.

Speedo needles are in and look good, now to make the counter weights.



Also - The tachometer I am working on.  Movement provided by a small gauge stepper and small controller board.

Is there a standard Tach that this is going to adapt to?

My plans are to drive the stepper motor with a Arduino board, bringing in the Tach signal through a frequency-to-voltage IC. The Arduino board (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12757) can potentially control up to 3 stepper motors. 

The stepper motors are what drive analog gauges in current cars.
