Oiled Cushioned Clutch Job

Hey Guys,

I'm in the process of changing the clutch in my car. It's the first time for me on a Hudson. I followed the steps in the Mechanical Procedure Manual and finally got the transmission out today. I've ordered everything I need from Dennie at Wildrick Restorations. He was quite helpful. Now I have a lot of degreasing to do. It looks like the oil seal on the throw out bearing was leaking. Here are some picture of my progress. If anyone has any tips they could give me I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Dan

I'm glad Dennis and the guys at WR were helpful, Dan.  Looks good so far.  Please keep us posted.  Is she going to be ready for French Lick?

OK. What color did Hudson paint the 3 speed transmissions? The engine is silver, would the trans be the same color?

Although the trans input shaft looks OK in the photo, slide the disc on it before assembly and make sure it doesn't have a little twist.
The only thing I like with a twist is a Martini.

I'd look for an overdrive trans while it's apart.
