That is a 1929,0

It is a 1929 Hudson Standard Sedan. All steel Hudson built body. Wire wheels were optional.0

Thanks it was pretty sweet0

I had a red and black one I restored in the mid 70's. Great car. Mine had wire wheels with twin side mounts.
Expensive option for a standard sedan. 1929 was one of the highest production years for HMC

I believe 1929 was the highest auto production year ever for the Hudson Motor Car Co. Beautiful '29 Hudson too!0

This '29 is from the late Herbert Bell's collection in Gainesville, GA. It's my understanding that the car was purchased by the Atlanta Historical Society for display at the Swann House. Mr. Bell did a lot of weddings and other events with it (Between 1997 and 2004 I had the pleasure of keeping it and his other cars maintained and exercised).0
