Jet Bump Stops

First a quick thanks for ALL the great advice from the people on this message board. You've tremendously helped me!

Now to the question: does a '54 Jet have bump stops on the top of the wheel arch? I believe my car is bottoming out on some of these "terrific" Oklahoma roads.

If not, I'd like to add some.  Any ideas??

Yes, there are rubber bumpers on the  arch of the chassis. but you may need to look at your shock absorbers to see if they are fully functional.  There was an option available of "Severe usage" rear springs, back in the day.  I have put an extra leaf in the rear springs  of my Jet with excellent results.
