Timing chain rubbing block 48-53
The fiber "rubbing block" attached to the inside of the timing cover has a little button (about 1/2" diam.) set into a hole in the rubbing block. That button on mine is gone (the spring in the photo doesn't belong there, it's just to position the rubbing block for the photo).. Anyone have one of these buttons, or a suitable substitute? Or the snubber and oil trough assembly that replaced the rubbing block on '54-'56s?
