Just about done with everything under the hood except painting the air filter housings. It's going to be a real runner with a bigger cam, bigger pistons, bigger valves and long headers and a little bump in compression.

Very Nice, looking forward to seeing it.

It looks like you may have the original rubber hose that goes from the power brakes to the distribution block.  That old rubber hose really needs to be replaced or you will probably experience a hard pedal and no brakes at some point in time...  BTDT!!!    I had a new one made by Tompkins.  See the link below.

Thanks for the kudos guys,  I'm really liking how it looks, and yes its a polished factory aluminum head. It now has 1/2" head bolts and zoom in on those super thick and strong(and expensive) teco washers on them. The jar on the firewall is a top cylinder oiler plumbed to the base of both carburetors. It has marvel mystery oil in it. I may experiment and blend in some zmax or ? The right front jar is of course the windshield washer fluid.

Chris, great looking engine and it looks like you have had some fun with the build. One suggestion I might make is with the copper tube that you have used to connect your second carburetor to your inlet line behind the filter. Copper has a problem deteriorating when it comes in contact with gas, particularly gas with the new additives they use in it,. I would suggest you change that out for steel. cannot wait to see the car in person, it looks great......
