New Member - Introduction!

Hello, I found this site while looking for information on an engine I just got.I think it is a '23 Essex. I have been a car guy all my life. My dad was a machinist and mechanic. My uncle and brother were hot rodders. I didn't stand a chance. I'm mostly into inline engines. That is how the Essex came to me. I'd like to use it as the basis for a vintage speedster because of the history of the Essex 4 cylinder. I am also a big fan of the independent American auto makers.

    Welcome aboard!

    Part of the reason for requiring 'Introductions' is the amount of spammers that we've seen - along with the quantity of SPAM that they had been posting.  Requiring an 'introduction' cuts the SPAM tremendously.

    That being said, you'd also probably be surprised by the number of folks who come across a car, engine, etc., and it ends up bringing them in this direction...

    Good to have you.  I'm sure you'll find a wealth of information here.

    You may also want to visit the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club website, and consider joining that Club - Members come for the cars, and stick around because of the great folks there!
