New Member From Australia
Hi there.
Have just joined the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club and saw mention of this open forum so thought I might as well sign up here too!
I live in country NSW and have just purchased a 1938 terraplane, which I'll be picking up next Saturday.
I'm a cabinetmaker by trade but am now a semi retired "farm worker" so now have a bit of spare time to play around with my passion of old cars and bikes.
Always been into old bikes (mainly Harleys and English stuff) and that progressed into old cars.
Current project is a 52 Chev which I'm hotrodding so perhaps I better not talk about that here Don't worry the terraplane will be remaining stock. It's a good rust free car, missing only the left hand wiper, and came with the original owners purchase documentation from new (Aussie model) The guy I bought it of apparently had it running 3 years ago so I'm hoping it's not going to be too much of a nightmare to get back on the road!
Look forward to catching up with you all on these forums and no doubt be learning a lot about my new toy!
Regards Simon

G'day Mate and welcome aboard Simon - there's a very active bunch of Hudson lovers down under. And a very active club that embraces not only Hudsons but AMC cars as well. Tales of their caravans are legendary. So you'll want to get in touch with them also. I don't have the info to hand, but they are active on this forum and will no doubt be in touch with you shortly.
