Sounds like fun, Taylor!
Have you learned about "outlines" in school yet?
That is when you arrange a plan of action by listing the major points you want to make (or the major "timeline" events in Hudson's life). Then, under the major points, you list the sub-topics that would logically fall under the main points.
It makes it so much easier to write your term paper then, because you have a sort of road map to follow, which takes you from the beginning to the end of your term paper "trip". Everything all falls into place when you know where you're going!
Here's an example:
HUDSON MOTOR CAR COMPANY HISTORY
1. Establishment of company
A. Personnel (what guys started it, what was their previous experience, etc.)
B. Financing (much of it from Mr. Hudson, so he got his name on the car!)
C. Factory (old Aerocar plant....it's still in existence today!)
D. Marketing plan (what kind of a car would they make -- high priced, low priced, or...?)
E. Chronology of events (how many cars made in first year, second year; profits; etc.)
2. Move to their first Hudson-built factory
A. Choosing location
B. Architect, design of building
and so forth, and so on...
Also, you can probably find a whole bunch of photos and drawings on the internet, which you can use to illustrate your paper.
Will the paper be a real "paper" or will it be some sort of video or Power Point presentation?
Feel free to drop in and ask us questions about Hudson's history, from time to time. Oh....and don't do like I did when I was your age...and wait til the day before the paper was due!

JohnB, funny that you should mention "Outline." Part of Taylor's research this past weekend was to travel to the Laughlin Economy run and interview "subject matter experts" about Hudson's. We, or I should say: Taylor did two possible outlines for his report. Yours is another he can choose from for his paper that is due at the end of the year. The photo in his avtar is the 1995 Dodge that we just purchased that he is starting to work on. His dream is to have it look like the photo. We also picked up a 1952 Hudson Hornet rocket to install on the tailgate. Yea, he is having the time of his life. The truck should be ready when he gets his drivers license in about three years..... There is always time to start early....0
