Ideas on duel exhaust for an eight?

I am in the early process of restoring my 50 Commodore that will remain very close to stock.   I am seriously considering a few changes though, including a split exhaust.   I see a lot of options for the sixes including headers and 2 into 1 manifolds, but very little for the eights.  Any feedback from the knowledgeable gallery?

To the best of my knowledge, there was never anything "bolt-on" in the aftermarket for the Eights but an example of a dual exhaust mod can be seen in the June 1 post by Park_W on this forum.

You're correct Frank.  There are a couple of dual intakes for the eights, but I don't recall anything on the exhaust side except for one-offs as I had made for my '47.  Keith, this manifold is available, by the way.  I just finished removing it since I'm selling the car and figure some potential buyers would want the engine compartment as original.  Photo on the left below was taken a couple of days ago.  Email me if interested . . . hetpwald@comporium.net. I'm sure Park could tell you better, but there's more room in a step down than there is in a '47.

That fuel pump is hard enough to reach!   Bet it sounds good though.
