Front Fender

Everyone in Hudson land .

I m looking for a front fender for a 1940 6 cylinder car/pickup.

Passenger side, would like NOS just like everyone else.

 And a hood for same year and model .

   Live in Maryland

Hi 1940 and 1941 front fenders will interchange

But do trucks and cars interchange?  I thought there was a difference where the running boards mount.

The front fender of a '40 or '41 Hudson of any series will fit to a tee
The '42 thru '47 Hudson Passenger Car front fenders will not fit any pickup without some modifications.

You would have to do more than just fill trim holes on the '42 front fenders.  They too had been modified for the metal covered running boards and also had a built in splash apron across the front under the grill - thus a two piece set up similer  the '46 & '47.
