Which bumperettes?

For 1951 Senior cars, it seems I've seen just as many cars with small bumperettes as with the larger ones. How did they come from the factory? Was it larger in the rear and small on the front?

Russell 1951 was an odd year for bumperettes. Senior cars had the exact same rear treatment that was done in 1950 BUT the front was different. The 1950 model had front outter bumperettes that were larger than the 1951 models. 1950 had a knob on the top of the bumperette much like the rear bumperettes. In 1951 someone noticed that there were a huge number of left over 48-9 front outter bumpetettes still at the factory so instead of tossing them they used them on the 1951 model to use them up. In 1952 Hudson went back to using the 1950 front outter bumperette and continued that for the next few model years. 1951 is the odd ball .0
