I am looking for a stepdown 6 balancer that has a broken flange. I Intend to modify it, and I don't want to destroy a good original part. Should fit into a flat rate box for shipping.

How about someone breaking one? LOL!

    Shameless bump to the top

  • Dave , I've get them but none are broken.
  • Dave,
I have a few broken ones.......no, I didn't break them. If I told you the story, I'd get so pissed that I wouldn't be able to finish this post. I'd like to keep the hub and rubber discs if you can still use your originals.

    Frank,

I'll need the whole thing..What I want to do, is grind the outer flange off and bolt on Cheby a double sheave to make a dual belt pulley.  I've done it twice but I had two busted ones to use. I just hate to destroy a good usable original part.

I have one that I just took off a 262 that was worn and locked up so bad it wasn't worth trying to take more of it apart.  You can have that one for the shipping.

Whilst on the subject, does anyone have a spare 202 dampener?  I am assembling a Jet motor, and need one, plus a set of valve keepers.  Thanks,

Geoff - you're probably better off starting your own thread on this.  It would get a lot more views, and you're more likely to get the parts more quickly...

The one still attached to my parts Pacemaker's engine has a broken flange.

If it'll work for you, you can have it and shipping should be pretty reasonable.

Uncle Josh: Thank You for the offer. Chris is very near by.

Chris:... is it still on the engine? in other words should I bring a puller?
