Who is making floor pans for pre-StepDowns?
A friend is doing some body work on a '36 business coupe. He needs to replace the front floor pans. Could someone remind me of who is making these nowadays (I think it's a company, but maybe one of "our" guys is doing it as well). Also, is the "fit" of these pans acceptable (yeah, I know my friend will probably have to "fit them in"), or is it better to start out with a flat piece of sheet metal and do it yourself?
I do know of this company, that seems to make all sorts of body pans for pre-war Hudsons: http://www.c2cfabrication.com/wp-content/plugins/c2c-car-filter/include/product_filter.php?make=18&model=185&syear=1936
I assume only the front pans are being repro'd -- or are other patch panels available?
