I bought another Hudson and it came with some extra parts but this one has me stumped. It has a part number of 215 stamped on it with the numbers 06 following that but about half the size of the 215 numbers. There's also a very small map of the District of Columbia (Washington DC) with the letters DC inside the outline of the state. I can find nothing in the online parts manual. I'm just curious. It's about 6" long and 2 1/2" wide. Terry

Thanks, It doesn't show up when I search the '48-54 parts manual. now I know. Terry0

I believe what you saw were the letters 'IDC' . That stood for Indiana Die Casting. The outline you saw was for the state of Indiana not Washington DC. IDC was a supplier to Hudson.0

You are correct. Upon closer inspection, I could barely see the I for Indiana. I searched again for that particular part number and nothing comes up.....most numbers with the 215 in front are 6 digit numbers. If the car had been in my possession I could have walked out and seen where it fit ( I bought a '50 Commodore). It has to be delivered so I just grabbed what would fit in my car from the seller and I'm in the process of sorting through the stuff......almost like Christmas again. I learn something new every day. Terry0

The correct part number for the parking lamp "Door" or trim is 220450

Jerry, I'm curious as to where you found the crossover number for this part. Also, there are four hubcaps in the box of parts he gave me and he thought they were from a Jet....about 10" in diameter with the triangle in the center. I'll take pictures if you would like. Terry0

I got the part number from the Master Parts Catalog for 1948 thru 1954. The 10" hub caps sound like they could be for a Jet. The standard Jet hub cap has the red triangle in the center with an embossed circle imprinted around it. A picture would be good.

Here's a picture....they fit your description. The one on the top right has some damage and another has a small ding. I just gently washed off the dust. If someone needs them, let me know.0

Yes ! Those are the standard Jet hubcaps

Thanks Jerry, here's another stumper...I had the car delivered yesterday and this item was in the trunk. It measures 8" x 25" and has beveled glass(which is broken) and appears to have cloth between the two halves....anyway, it looks like it comes apart. It has a patent date of 3/15/21 stamped on it. No part number. Terry0

That is the back glass surround for an open type car with collapsible top.0
