Fuel pump gaskets
Folks,
I am replacing the type A P fuel pump on my 1940. When I removed the fuel pump there was only a thin gasket between the pump and the crankcase. According to my manual there should have been a spacer made of steel and asbestos .275" thick, an oil baffle made of steel, however the manual doesn't say how thick and the gasket made of rubber and asbestos .015" thick.
I have another pump but I don't have the spacer or baffle. Does anyone know where I can get these two items or if it is possible for me to make them?
Thanks,
Marvin
