1950 Hudson paint colors question??

I don't have the color samples to look at for the 1950 Hudson cars and have what will be a silly question to ask. Were the colors available for this year a metallic or non-metallic paint? My 50 Commodore Coupe is nearly ready for paint and am curious.

Dan,
I found that TCP Global has a good library of paint chips. It's @ http://www.autocolorlibrary.com.
1950 - 51 Hudsons are at http://www.autocolorlibrary.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1950-Hudson-pg01.jpg
I hope this helps.

They also could be special ordered with earlier colors. Ken Schulte's 1951 Hornet convertible came from the factory with earlier Radiant Red paint that was a 1949 color.0

Hard copy paint chips for Hudsons are readily available on ebay for about $10 per year.Trusting a computer screen for color accuracy can be risky.0

Thank you for the all the information so far. I contacted the TCP Global today and they were very helpful. They're in San Diego which is about 3 1/2 hours away. I was hoping to be able to go to a local paint supplier and have small amounts made to spray test panels but no such luck with these particular Hudson colors. I'd need to buy from TCP Global a minimum of 1 qt each of color that I was considering and that can get a little expensive. I suppose I'll just need to go to my local paint shop and try to get close to the colors I have narrowed it down to which are Lagoon Blue Poly, Legion Blue Poly and maybe Rivard Blue Poly.Dan0

Here is another link to 1950 colors and they have PPG and Dupont number that might help local suppliers.
