1950 Two Tones
Comments

If I'm not mistaken unlike the 48's and 49's, the '50s only had a single color. This is a period paint scheme rule that I may break, because I like some of the two-tones from the earlier years so much...keith0

According to my Acme Proxlin color charts, there were 4 two-tone combinations in 1950:
QG-32: Gray Mist Light upper and Twilight Grey Dark lower
SP-33: Peacock Green Light upper and Oriental Green Dark lower
RC-34: Golden Gray Light upper and Golden Gray Dark lower
JB-31: Legion Blue Light upper and Revard Blue Dark lower
1950 car distribution bulletin DL.50-5 for the Pacemaker lists the same 4 combos (blue, gray, green and golden gray) but without the actual color names and locations.

I guess we can agree then that this is not an original combination? Most likely my favorite paint job--the new paint went down like a dream....no spills, no runs and no errors...0

Looks really nice, Brownie. Good job!...k0

Chris, Thanks for the link. I didn't have much luck with my search.
And also was the darker color only below body line on side.

To throw in a little more confusion, the very early 1950's cars were still two toned like the '48 & '49 cars, but only during the first month or so of production.
