What is this hole for?

Aside from the fact that my '49 Super Six doesn't have the heater hose outlets hooked
up, it also is missing whatever goes in this hole in the firewall. 
Can someone tell me what goes there and if I could possibly get one anywhere?

    The Ranco heater valve was screwed into this hole. One line off the valve does a u-turn into the heater core at the front of the firewall. The other line on the valve goes to the head. You then have a cable that runs from the heater control lever on the dash that opens/closes the Ranco valve.

    Oh and Lance Walker can help you with finding one to fit in there. He rebuilt mine that I sent to him and did a great job. He is listed in the Jan/Feb 15 edition of the WTN under "Member Products & Services"
