Stepdown Headlight Switch

My '53 Super Wasp has a pull out type of headlight switch versus the more typical stepdown switch you turn clockwise to illuminate the headlights.  Does anyone know if the pull out switch was made available as an option at Hudson dealers, or, as I suspect, was this an aftermarket switch?

    Definitely an aftermarket switch.  Hudson used the clockwise style switch thru to the end of their production in 1954.
