FYI
I noticed this Hudson Cpe while under construction while on vacation in Mooresville NC about 4 yrs ago when the fabricator had just pushed it outside to sweep the floor. I introduced myself as a Hudson owner to learned he needed a lot of parts to complete the project. I supplied some pcs as did a couple of HET Members from our Western Reserve Chapter.

As a result of my Posting an APB on this Forum many other parts were supplied from a helpful Forum Member nearby in the Charlotte area. Thisw Car competed in the 2014 Great American race and will be featured in the new upcoming Pixar Cars3 Movie !

    I remember you posting the info on here. Great that it's in the upcoming movie. Just wish it were Hudson powered!

    I agree, but when I met these guys they were unaware of the Hudson Club. The Owner Humpy Wheeler goes way back to the Fabulous Hudson Era and knew all about their Legacy. He only really wanted a floater rear end because he seen drivers get injured when the rear axle broke stuffing the wheel up in the fender well flipping the cars. However, being affliated with NASCAR a long time influenced his power train not knowing there were resources available to build Hornet power.At least it will put Stepdown's in the limelight again....
