Come to Doc's Meet in Virginia, May 8-10, 2015!

The 52nd running of Doc's Apple Blossom Meet takes place in Front Royal, Va., will take place the weekend of May 8 - 10, 2015.  This meet has been a tradition for Hudson enthusiasts since 1964. 


Here's a link to the on-line flyer: http://www.cbc.hetclub.org/2015%20Docs%20Flyer%202-14-15.pdf .  Please be aware that we MUST have dinner reservations by APRIL 30!   We have to pay for the meals in advance and cannot afford to reserve extra dinners on speculation.  (The food quality nowadays has vastly improved from previous years; there is even a full salad bar!)

Sunday's all-Hudson car show and flea market has taken place on the grounds of Skyline Caverns
for decades.  A bronze plaque near the entrance, memorializes meet founder "Doc" Daugherty

    We had such a great time at the 4-H center. It was so beautiful their beats the fire station hands down.
    Me and the family cant wait to go again Charles

    I'm nudging this to the top, yet again.  April 30 is the deadline to postmark your Saturday dinner reservations.  After that time, the only dinner tickets available will be cancellations.  The food is great at our new venue (the 4H Center, just south of town).

    I'll be there, headed out from Rochester NY about five in the morning. Be there  noon or so.  
    See you all then !!!  Does anyone know if members will be hanging out at the 4H club or ???

    Jim, there are no formal plans to have any activity at the 4H until later in the afternoon.  We'll be e-mailing (very soon) to all the pre-registered folks a small "Guide" which includes cellphone numbers of the meet organizers. Why not give us a ring when you arrive?  Maybe you can join the group, somewhere in Front Royal, for lunch or something.

    Weather perfect all three days, temps in low 80's.  People came from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, not to mention Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.

    Thanks John , lot's of grey hair in those photos. I notice the crowd is thinning from years past.

    I'm one of those didn't attend. Always a very enjoyable meet. The one my wife looked forward to the most.

    Nice facility.
