Welcome to the Open Forum, Pat. I've made you a member of the Forum and re-posted out in the "Hudson" category where people will see it.
I assume you may already be in the H-E-T Club but if not, you might consider joining. Go to http://www.hetclub.org/ for more information.

Thank you for the reply. I will join the H-E-T Club. Thank you for the information and posting to the Forum. I am new so I need all the help finishing the car. The car has been restored 95% original. Just leaving the brakes to upgrade.
I purchased the Hudson in 2011 the reddish color on the right. The Black the finish color, with the entire car all chrome on the outside and interior, with a all Black leather interior. The dash is Black with the front of the dash redone in chrome all parts of the dash.

Well, John, it looks beautiful. If it's 95% original, why not outfit it with Hornet brakes? That way you retain the original look and get the stopping power you are after.0

Pat, one other thing: depending upon where you live, there may be a Hudson meet going on within driving distance, sometime this year. At the homepage of the HET are drop-down menus at the top of the page. Click on CLUB, then EVENTS, then click on NATIONAL, REGIONAL and CHAPTER to check out if any of these will be near you. Of course, this is only the tip of the iceberg, many local chapters don't bother to post their every meet here. So you could go to CLUB then CHAPTERS, then CHAPTER MAP to determine the closest chapter(s) to you. Having done that, go to CLUB, then CHAPTERS, then CHAPTER CONTACTS and phone the contact person for "your" chapter and the neighboring ones, and ask if they have any events you might attend. This gives you a chance to meet other Hudson owners, compare notes, possibly see cars similar to yours, and maybe even buy parts you could use. And, if you find a chapter you like, you could join it. (It's necessary, however, to join the National club before joining a chapter)
