wiring shift indicator light

On the '53 Hornet with Hydra-matic there is a light in the shift indicator on the steering column.  Where does the wire leading from the light bulb terminate?

again thanks

That wire goes down in the tunnel of the shifter arm. Upon getting to the bottom of the shifter arm it then plugs into the wire cluster that associated with the neutral safety switch. There should be two black wires going into the neutral safety switch and a red wire with a female connector in the same cluster. The red wire is where the wire from the shifter arm goes.
