1954 trunk hinge needed

Dave if the rivets are sheered they can be replaced or use bolts. Buddy of mine had rivets fail (54 coupe) at a recent regional. We went to local hardware and fixed hinge.0

Thank you Rivet replacement was no problem, but it is bent in several places along with a crack that I was able to weld. If we can get it to work, I would still be leery about tasking it on trip.0

When I was doing the hinges for the trunk I glass beaded them and blew all the dust off and silver painted them. WheIl I installed them and went to close the trunk lid the hinges bent badly .So finely I sprayed then with silicone graffite chain saw lube. And now I can open and close my trunk lid with my little finger.Oil helps lots.Hudsonly Ray 54 Hornet Hollywood0
