 Whats the right oil to use in the old splashier engines?

    I use 15W40 in my old cars because of the Diesel oil having ZINC in it !!!  But, you will probably get a different oil  from each person.

     Walmart Chevron seems to be extremely cheap compared to everything else also.  Also, I change it based on age, not mileage; probably once per year. Any oil with 15 at the cold end is diesel; don't use in anything with a Catalytic Conv. or you will have to buy a new one.
