Presoaking clutch cork
The manual and my clutch guy both say that new clutch cork should be soaked in oil at least 12 hours before the clutch is installed. The clutch guy recommended 30W motor oil, while the manual seems to suggest that Hudson clutch oil be used. Does it matter which is used? Seems to be a waste of good Hudson clutch oil seeing that once the cork is soaked, the oil will be thrown away.

A.T.F. is probably cheaper. You don't need much, just pour it over the plate and leave sitting.0
