1939 112 Convertible in Hemmings

Does anyone know this car? The convertible part seems to be home made unless I'm missing something. Irrespective of that I'd like it and as a no reserve auction someone may well pick up a sweet deal

Looks like a Shriner Clown Car that someone resurrected.  At least it's no reserve.

It has some potential in it; without more photos it's hard to see what has been done to it to convert it that way.

To me it's another 112 that should see the light of day in whatever shape or form
