Need a voltage regulator for a CGW 4801b generator. Can someone give a regulator number that corresponds to the generator.

    Don't happen to have tat info, John, but I just wanted to make sure you knew: there are all sorts of shop manuals and parts manuals on the HET site which you can download or just read on the internet, which will have that info. immediately!

    John those generators have the BLUE Auto Lite tags and are the 45amp. The correct Regulator is the Auto lite VBE-6104A, also with a blue tag. Doug sells 'em. The Standard brand is a VR-4 or a VR-27(Napa). One has the Batt. terminal on the top the other  has all three terminals along the bottom( as original). Either works well.
