ID number location on a 1936 Terraplane

could someone tell me were I can find the ID number for a 1936 Terraplane 2dr sedan the ID plate is missing from the firewall on a car I just bought and the title has a number that looks like it could be a motor number I have other 36 Terraplanes that is why I know they do not have the right number on the title.

Open the hood on the right side.  Down on the frame, on the top of the main frame rail, not far forward of the firewall, is stamped the car's serial nr.  As you probably know, the engine number is not the same.  They didn't start that 'til '38.

Number is also stamped into the rear axle housing.  Looking from the rear, it's on the right side of the differential housing, about half way to the rear spring, and a bit above the housing centerline.

Thanks Park the car is not hear yet about two more weeks before it gets here I need to have the right id number so they can put it on the title when I have it put in my name Tom.
