Had the HET forum on my "favorites" list, now when I try to get back on, it says " No longer valid"

I have had the same problem myself, in the last couple of days.

If I use the old bookmark, I see the large surrounding HET photograph with a white area in the center, where the Open Forum is usually displayed.  In a small box, in that area, is the "No longer valid" warning.

If I go to this URL: http://openforum.hetclub.org/ I see the Open Forum but there is no surrounding HET photograph as there was until recently.  Anyway, try this link and see if it at least gets you the Open Forum!

The settings have been changed now so that the "Old Forum" now opens in its own window rather than a frame with the HET Club website. There seemed to be a lot of issues with people accessing it that way.

You may need to login again once you get here unless you've got an old cookie stored.

www.hetclub.org/forum also gets you here as well.

www.hetclub.org will take you to the Club website where you can select either "Forum" for the forum on there or clicking "O'Forum" from the main club website also gets you here but in a new tab / window depending on your browser set-up

Oh!  Thanks for explaining that!  I was unaware of this change, thought my browser or computer settings were at fault.

I had the same problem. I went to google and found the link and reset it to my favorites
