212 valve clearance cold

I found an earlier discussion on setting valve clearance on a 262 (cold) but have not found any discussion on setting the valve clearance on a 212 (1935) that is cold.
I know that the setting is.006 and .008 hot but it sure would be easier if any of you know what the settings would be cold.
Thank you,
Mike

Try 8 and 12, and as it relatively easy to reset when hot, check when the engine is thoroughly warmed up. Modern stainless valves tend to expand more that the original silicon steel version. The 5/16" stems on the '35 models don't expand much. Providing you have minimum 6 and 8 with a hot motor you are good to go.Geoff0
