Includes MSD 6AL Ignition Box, GM H.E.I.Distributor modified to fit Hudson, Distributor Cap, 8mm Super Stock Wires, and Mallory 12V Coil.
Unit only had 2 weekends of use at Drag Strip.

What does do about a vacuum advance with this type of unit?

FYI
Ron Fellows said most modern distributors vacume Adv needs turned way down or off. Set 8 @ Idle.

If ya think about it. The function of the vacuum advance is to retard the timing during acceleration. If the centrifugal advance is properly designed. The vacuum is irrelevant. Uh... I think.0

That's right on the money, Dave. Here's a secret: I don't even run a vacuum advance due to the different tuning requirements that modern day gas has brought upon us.0
