Tire rubbing on inner fender

Anytime I turn the steering wheel on my '53 Super Wasp to the extreme left, such as when parking, the inside of the left front tire rubs against the inner fender making an unusual noise.  I've never had this problem before with the two short wheel base stepdowns I've owned in the past.  Any idea what may be at fault here?

Correct, original rims?  Correct size/profile tires?

Has the front end sustained damage in the past? Has it been rebuilt/restored, or has the front clip been removed (for some purpose) in the past?

Are the kingpins tight, along with the other suspension components?

Is it definitely rubbing the fender panel, or the drag link?

The rims are correct.  Size of the tires should be correct as I bought them from a dealer that owns a number of Hudsons (though I don't know the size offhand without looking at the tires).  Car shows no signs of ever having sustained any front end damage.  Almost all original.

Doug Wildrick performed some work on the front end two years ago replacing the stabilizer connectors(along with some much needed work elsewhere on the car) and mentioned that my king pins show wear and should eventually be replaced (looking into getting this done this year).

Not a major issue on the car, just an occasional problem when turning the steering wheel to the extreme left, but was wondering if anyone out there has experienced this as well and discovered what caused it.

    Yes, they're radials.

A similar experience I had just when the car went back on the road a couple of years ago. The issue for mine was that when the wheels were straight ahead it was not in the center of the steering box travel if that makes sense. Hard lock one way was pushing the wheels further than hard lock the other way.
Fixed it by approx a couple of turns in on one side and a couple out on the other draglink, set the toe-in and all was good. It took a bit of trial and error but eventually got it right - centered the steering wheel correctly also!
Good luck in sorting yours out.

The inner fender.  You can see the clean rub mark there.
