1929/ 30 Essex drums

Will wood spoke drums from a 29 Essex fit onto 30 Essex axles? I have both complete sets, but might need to use the 29s while I'm looking for 30 wheels and am wondering what issues I may run into.

Generally thee is little that will interchange between 1929 and '30, but I think you may get away with the drums.  Measure first, both diameter, width, and  bolt spacing.  There are issues with  removing drums.  The bolts were cut off with  mechanical shears, which had  the effect of roughing over the ends of the threads, and it is likely that the bolts and nuts may strip when being undone if you do not carefully grind around the ends of the bolt where it protrudes slightly above the nuts on  the inner end.
